The convict would have to serve in prison for one more year if he fails to deposit the fine, the court said.<\/p>\n<p>As per the prosecution, Shravan Mahto, the convict, had killed his wife Ranju Devi for dowry on September 16, 2013 at his Badi Kulni village of the district.<\/p>\n<p>The family members of the deceased had lodged an FIR the same day with the same police station of the district.<\/p>\n<p>Ranju Devi was married to Shravan Mahto in 2008.
