A case was registered against Gupta in the vigilance police station under anti-corruption law.<\/p>\n<p>Papers of some trucks seized in the sub-division was found in the possession of the IAS officer following a complaint lodged by a trucker.<\/p>\n<p>Arrest of the officer had triggered protests from the state IAS officers&#8217; association.<\/p>\n<p>(Source : PTI)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A local court today dismissed the bail petition of IAS officer Jitendra Gupta, who was arrested in a corruption case by vigilance department 10 days ago.
