Ashish Khetan has been asked to appear before the court on the next date of hearing which has been fixed as October 15,&#8221; AAP member and advocate H S Phoolka told reporters here.<\/p>\n<p>The court had on July 18 issued summons to Kejriwal, Singh, who is AAP&#8217;s Punjab affairs in-charge, and Khetan, a journalist-turned-politician, to appear before it in the defamation case.<\/p>\n<p>On May 20, Majithia had filed the criminal defamation case against the three in a court here alleging that AAP was bent upon tarnishing his and his family&#8217;s image by levelling baseless allegations over the drug issue.<\/p>\n<p>A large number of AAP supporters, carrying placards, gathered at Amritsar circuit house here to express solidarity with Kejriwal and other party leaders.<\/p>\n<p>Tight security arrangements were made by the police to maintain law and order.<\/p>\n<p>It is Kejriwal&#8217;s third visit to Amritsar this month.
