On Friday, he moved a court to get his passport back for his honeymoon getaway to Maldives and Ireland next week.<\/p>\n<p>Rahul, son of late senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Pramod Mahajan, in his application, moved through counsel Sanjeev Kumar, said he plans to \u201cgo to Maldives and Ireland for his honeymoon on March 9 and stay there till March 30\u2033.<\/p>\n<p>Rahul is getting married on NDTV\u2019s reality show \u201cRahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega\u201d Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Rahul\u2019s passport is under court custody since his involvement in a drug abuse case in 2006. As per the orders he cannot leave the country without the court\u2019s permission.<\/p>\n<p>The court will consider Rahul\u2019s application Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Rahul and his father\u2019s secretary Vivek Moitra were admitted to the Apollo hospital here in the early hours June 2, 2006, after allegedly consuming contraband drugs with alcohol at Pramod Mahajan\u2019s official residence at Safdarjung Road. Moitra died in the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Rahul was let off drug trafficking charges, which entail harsher punishment, and was booked for consumption of banned drugs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rahul Mahajan is putting final touches to his plans to get married on a reality show.
