Akhter had lodged an FIR in this regard and the Special Investigation Team had chargesheeted 15 people. Two of the accused died during the trial.<\/p>\n<p>This is the forth case from the Muzaffarnagar riots in which all the accused were acquitted.<\/p>\n<p>The widespread communal clashes in the district had left nearly 60 dead and thousands displaced.<\/p>\n<p>( Source &#8211; PTI )<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A court here today acquitted 13 people accused in a case of killing of three members of a family during the Muzaffarnagar riots due to lack of evidence.
