Nagarjuna Reddy, who had reserved his order Friday after hearing the arguments of Shoaib\u2019s\u00a0<strong>counsel<\/strong>, Monday pronounced his order directing\u00a0the police\u00a0to return his\u00a0passport.<\/p>\n<p>Shoaib, who married Indian tennis star Sania Mirza here last Monday, had last week filed the petition as his\u00a0passportremained with\u00a0the police\u00a0despite Ayesha withdrawing hercomplaint\u00a0after he divorced her.<\/p>\n<p>Shoaib\u2019s\u00a0<strong>counsel<\/strong>\u00a0had told\u00a0the court\u00a0that the issue between him and Ayesha was resolved amicably and she withdrew hercomplaint\u00a0and hence there was no reason for\u00a0the police\u00a0to retain his\u00a0passport.<\/p>\n<p>The court\u00a0order cleared the way for Shoaib to return to Pakistan along with his bride for a reception expected to be held in Lahore later this week.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>court<\/strong>\u00a0order came a day after the Central Crime Station (CCS) of\u00a0Hyderabad\u00a0police closed the case againstShoaib Malik\u00a0on a request by Ayesha.<\/p>\n<p>Shoaib\u2019s\u00a0passport\u00a0was seized by police April 5 after he was questioned in connection with the case filed by Ayesha. The\u00a0Pakistani\u00a0cricketer moved the\u00a0High Court\u00a0after police said it might take a week for him to get back his\u00a0passport\u00a0as he would have to complete some legal formalities.<\/p>\n<p>A police official had said that Shoaib and Ayesha may have to appear before a lower court.
