Earlier, his bail plea was rejected by the special CBI court in Bhubaneswar on September 23.<\/p>\n<p>The Cuttack-Choudwar legislator was admitted at the Capital Hospital on September 22 after he was arrested by the CBI for his alleged links with the multi-crore Seashore Group chit fund scam.<\/p>\n<p>He was later shifted to SCBMCH in Cuttack for better treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Biswal was arrested by the CBI on September 20 and was produced before the special CBI court two days later.<\/p>\n<p>The court had sent Biswal to jail.<\/p>\n<p>( Source &#8211; PTI )<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Khurda District and Sessions Court today rejected the bail plea of BJD MLA Pravat Ranjan Biswal, who was arrested by the CBI in a chit fund case.
