Sirpurkar, Justice Mukundakam Sharma and Justice R.M. Lodha adjourned the hearing after Karnataka government\u2019s counsel told the court that the meeting of a high level committee (HLC) headed by Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa could not take place due to restrictions linked to election code.<\/p>\n<p>Advocate General of Karnataka Ashok Haranahalli said the HLC\u2019s meetings could not take place on account of the declaration of the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palika elections.<\/p>\n<p>He said that earlier meetings of the HLC could not take place because of the budget session of the state legislature. He said in HLC\u2019s meeting Nov 19, 2009 several outstanding issues were discussed and resolved.<\/p>\n<p>The HLC headed by the chief minister has seven senior officers of the state as its members.
