Saini operated from a government quarter which was allotted to a Supreme Court official.<\/p>\n<p>Businessman Sikander Lal Pahwa was abducted March 2, 1994, from Greater Kailash-II in south Delhi and kept in the government quarter in R.K.Puram, from where the accused made ransom calls through a telephone which was in the name of another person.<\/p>\n<p>The accused had rented a government quarter allotted to Assistant Registrar of the Supreme Court Hari Shankar Khekhar.<\/p>\n<p>Investigation into the incident made it clear that some phone calls reaching the victim\u2019s family were originating from Dubai.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An aide of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim was Monday sentenced to life imprisonment by the Delhi High Court for abducting a businessman and demanding a ransom of Rs.1.5 crore.
