The attack was carried out by her brother-in-law and his friends.\u00a0She is currently under undergoing treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra and Justices A M Khanwikar and D Y Chandrachud considered the plea of Shabnam Rani, and\u00a0asked advocate Ashwini Kumar Upadhyay, counsel for Rani, to submit a copy of the petition to the Centre and the Uttar Pradesh government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bench issued a notice to the State through its Additional Advocate General Aishwarya Bhati.
