The Patna High court had banned reporting on Muzaffarpur shelter abuse cases on August 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A journalist, who had challenged the blanket ban in the top court\u00a0\u00a0seeking a stay on the high court order restraining the media from reporting the investigation.\u00a0However, Justice Madan B Lokur said that when a case is going on, media can&#8217;t deliver its judgement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over 30 girls were allegedly raped at the shelter home run by one Brajesh Thakur, the chief of a state-funded NGO.\u00a0An FIR was filed and 10 people, including Brajesh Thakur, were arrested.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court with an instruction for the media\u00a0to exercise restraint and not to misreport or sensationalise such news, lifts the ban on reporting\u00a0in the Muzaffarpur shelter home sexual abuse case.
