The order came after the lawyer failed to convince the court that his plea was maintainable after it asked him to &#8220;show why should your plea be entertained&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On September 25, the Delhi Police had partly supported the plea where the Delhi Police Standing Counsel (Criminal) Rahul Mehra informed the high court that Tharoor ought to have first gone to the magisterial court that had summoned him as an accused, to seek bail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pushkar was found dead in a suite of a luxury hotel\u00a0in South Delhi on January, 17, 2014.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW DELHI:\u00a0The Delhi High Court dismissed\u00a0a plea seeking the cancellation of Shashi Tharoor&#8217;s anticipatory bail\u00a0\u00a0granted by a trial court in the Sunanda Pushkar death case.
