plea seeking special reservation for transgenders in appointments for government jobs.\u00a0Justice S Vimala passed the order on the plea moved by P Sudha, a transsexual and resident of Chennai.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Though transgenders have been identified as the third gender, no proper welfare measures are being taken by the state for the community\u2019s upliftment or empowerment, the petition said.This community is in constant battle with the oppression and discrimination from all sections of the society, the petitioner said.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--EndFragment-->The petitioner wanted that the government\u00a0should provide reservation to the community as a special case in government appointments.<br \/><br
