Singh&#8217;s court Monday seeking registration of a criminal case against then Madhya Pradesh chief minister Singh allegedly for ensuring the escape of Anderson from the aftermath of the world&#8217;s worst industrial tragedy.<\/p>\n<p>The disaster struck the Madhya Pradesh capital Dec 2-3, 1984 night, killing and maiming thousands when lethal methyl iso-cyanate (MIC) gas leaked from a pesticide plant of Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL).<\/p>\n<p>The court has set June 29 for taking up the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Anderson, UCC US and UCC Kowloon Hong Kong were declared absconders by a Bhopal trial court which punished seven others June 7 for the tragedy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A complaint has been filed against veteran Congress leader Arjun Singh in a local court here for allegedly letting off Bhopal gas tragedy&#8217;s main accused and former Union Carbide Corp (UCC) CEO Warren Anderson.
