{"id":56596,"date":"2019-07-04T14:53:13","date_gmt":"2019-07-04T09:23:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/news\/?p=56596"},"modified":"2019-07-04T14:53:13","modified_gmt":"2019-07-04T09:23:13","slug":"the-himachal-pradesh-cabinet-on-wednesday-decided-to-abolish-state-administrative-tribunal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.legalindia.com\/news\/the-himachal-pradesh-cabinet-on-wednesday-decided-to-abolish-state-administrative-tribunal","title":{"rendered":"The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet on Wednesday decided to abolish state administrative tribunal."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The cabinet in its meeting, which was presided over by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, decided to abolish the state administrative tribunal (SAT) &amp; issued directions to initiate necessary steps in this regard, according to an official statement.<\/p>\n<p>The cabinet also decided to increase the financial assistance for families of deceased &amp; retired journalists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe cabinet gave its approval to enhance the financial assistance to the family members of the working journalists in case of death from existing Rs 2 lakh to Rs 4 lakh &amp; for the retired journalists from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh under the Patrakar Kalyan Yojana,\u201d said an official spokesperson.<\/p>\n<p>In another decision, the Cabinet also decided to upgrade 1,026 Class-IV posts in Irrigation &amp; Health Department to a higher grade.<\/p>\n<p>It gave its nod to start a new \u2018Sahara\u2019 scheme in the State under which Rs. 2000 per month would be provided to patients of economically weaker sections suffering from identified serious diseases.
