The Supreme Court Friday asked Andhra Pradesh to file a reply on a petition seeking to initiate contempt proceedings against the state government for breaching the court’s interim order in the appointment of secondary grade teachers.<\/p>\n
The vacation bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice R.M. Lodha and Justice A.K. Patnaik gave the state government four weeks to file the reply.<\/p>\n
Even as the state government’s counsel D.Bharthi Reddy denied any breach of the court’s interim order, Justice Lodha said: ‘Prima facie there is something that needs to be stated in writing that under what circumstances the GO (government order) was issued.’<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
