Madhava Menon Memorial\u2019 online lecture series on Friday, 29th May 2020 at 6:00PM on the topic ‘Legal & Digital Challenges for India Post Covid’. Akhil Bharatiya Adhivakta Parishad (ABAP) is the organiser of this online lecture series. Welcome address will be delivered by Hon’ble Justice G. Raghuram (Retd.) Director, National Judicial Academy. Moderator of this lecture is Ms. Bansuri Swaraj, Advocate, Supreme Court of India.<\/p>\n

‘Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon Memorial\u2019 online\u00a0 lecture series is the second lecture series after lockdown organised by ABAP. In this lecture series first lecture was delivered by Mr. K.K. Venugopal, Sr. Advocate, Attorney General of India on the topic ‘Contours of Judicial Review\u2019 on 08.05.2020 and Prof C. Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of O.P. Jindal University had delivered welcome address in this lecture. Second lecture was delivered by Mr. Mukul Rohatgi, Senior Advocate and Former Attorney General of India on the topic \u2018Journey of Supreme Court from 1950 till now\u2019 on 16.05.2020 and welcome address was delivered by\u00a0 Dr. Sudhir Krishnaswamy, Eminent Academician and Vice Chancellor of NLSIU, Bengaluru. Third lecture was delivered by Prof. Ved Prakash Nanda on topic \u2018India\u2019s Leadership in Environmental Law Regimes in light of India\u2019s Ethos\u2019 on 18.05.2020. Fourth lecture was delivered by Mr. Mahesh Jethmalani, Sr Adv, Supreme Court and Professor (Dr.) Dilip Ukey, Vice Chancellor, MNLU, Mumbai on the topic \u2018Making Our Criminal Justice System Work\u2019 on 23.05.2020. All previous lectures are available on social media platforms of ABAP.<\/p>\n

In order to utilize the lockdown period and for the benefit of lawyers, initially Akhil Bhartiya Adhivakta Parishad (#ABAP) had organized an \u2018Online Lecture Series\u2019 in the name of \u2018Dattopant Thengadi Lecture Series\u2019 (from 20.04.2020 to 02.05.2020) prior to this ‘Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon Memorial\u2019 lecture series. In this series, several Senior Advocates, ASG, Prominent Legal Personalities and Academicians shared their views on different topic. The basic idea behind this Online Lecture Series is to benefit legal fraternity from the vast experience of Senior Advocates, Academicians and Experts of their field. Adhivakta Parishad organized more than 12 online lectures which have been broadcasted live on all Social Media Platforms of ABAP and millions of people have been benefited with these lectures delivered by Prominent Legal Personalities including Mr. Harish Salve, Senior Advocate who delivered his lecture on 02.05.2020.<\/p>\n
