The staff members who came in his contact in the past few days have been told to observe self-quarantine.<\/p>\n<p>The High Court of Punjab &amp; Haryana, as well as the subordinate courts in the states of Punjab &amp; Haryana &amp; the UT, have been working in a restrictive manner to prevent the spread of the pandemic since March.<\/p>\n<p>All district &amp; subdivisional Courts in Punjab, Haryana &amp; the Union Territory were only taking up Bail matters &amp; matters requiring urgent stay\/injunction. Efforts are made by judicial officers to avoid crowding of the Court. Cases are heard through videoconferencing.<\/p>\n<p>NK Nanda, President, District Bar Association, Chandigarh, said Lawyers were taking every possible step &amp; helping the Court administration to prevent the spread of COVID by following all directions issued in this regard from time to time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An Additional District &amp; Sessions Judge of the District Court, Chandigarh, has tested positive for Coronavirus.
