Multiple legal proceedings are underway against Ranjeet Darak and Nitin Chavan of Bridge Water Realty LLP over alleged fraud and document manipulation linked to land parcels in Lohgaon and Vadgaonsheri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the Lohgaon case, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has registered an FIR based on a complaint by Subodh Runwal, Director of Runwal Enterprises Ltd, alleging a \u20b917 crore fraud. The dispute traces back to a 2007 joint venture with the late Satish Mittal, where Runwal Enterprises paid a \u20b910 crore refundable deposit and spent over \u20b97 crore on developing the land. After Mittal\u2019s death, his heirs Meenadevi Satish Mittal, Ashish Satish Mittal, Kavita Ankush Agarwal and Nitin Satish Mittal, are alleged to have transferred development rights to Bridge Water Realty LLP without settling Runwal Enterprises\u2019 dues or honouring the original agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Investigators have noted that Runwal Enterprises continues to remain in physical possession of the land, with site checks confirming its presence on the ground. The probe has also flagged alleged irregularities such as unauthorised transfer of rights, use of questionable documents to change utility connections and threats made to the company. The police have filed charges related to cheating, conspiracy and forgery, and the investigation is underway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a separate case in Vadgaonsheri, a complaint by Jagdish Galande alleges misuse of a limited Power of Attorney (POA) for ancestral land. He claims the accused used the POA beyond its scope to execute a fresh exchange deed without consent, altering key terms and attaching documents without approval. The complaint also raises concerns over alleged forged signatures. A civil suit has been filed seeking cancellation of the documents and a halt on any development activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Both criminal and civil proceedings are pending in court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last month, Bombay High Court had set aside an ex-parte order of the Pune District Court that had restricted Runwal Enterprises from dealing with the Lohgaon land.
