Veteran lawyer K T S Tulsi will represent the CBI.<\/p>\n<p>The Special CBI court Wednesday rejected the CBI plea to take Shah on remand for further questioning in connection with the case.<\/p>\n<p>The court had upheld defence lawyer Ram Jethmalani&#8217;s argument that the CBI had failed to fully utilise the three days&#8217; time to question Shah. Moreover, once the chargesheet has been filed, it is not proper in law to now seek remand of the accused.<\/p>\n<p>The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has been accused of killing Sohrabuddin in a staged shootout Nov 26, 2005 near Ahmedabad on grounds that he was a Lashkar-e-Taiba operative.
