The film will be based on their experiences as girls and the impact of gender issues on them.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These girls will be divided into five groups and each group will make a 10-minute film &#8211; that they will script, shoot and edit before delivering the final product. These would be combined to look as a single film,&#8221; Sanjiv told IANS.<\/p>\n<p>The 25 girls, of age group 10-17, have been selected from 1,300 aspirants who applied for the project.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The project brings together young women from across the social spectrum to voice their opinions and make short films about their experience of being a woman, and what impact the gender issues have on their bearing and growth as an individual in a society that has declared itself to be democratic,&#8221; added Sanjiv, who is the youngest son of veteran film maker Sivan.<\/p>\n<p>A workshop will be conducted by eminent film personalities like Subhash Ghai, Javed Jaafri, Sharmila Tagore, Oscar winner Resul Pookutty besides the Sivan brothers for the girls later this month.<\/p>\n<p>The film will be launched Dec 28, Health Minister P.K.
