The probe report was given Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Transfusion of blood from a wrong blood group led to the death Dec 17, 2010 and caused kidney failure in the pregnant woman.<\/p>\n<p>According to the inquiry report, a house surgeon, an intern doctor and a lab technician were guilty of &#8216;gross medical negligence&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The probe was conducted by Sub-divisional Magistrate (South) Kavle V. Parashuram. He submitted his report to Chandigarh&#8217;s Home-cum-Health Secretary Ram Niwas Monday evening.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I have got the report. Appropriate action would be taken against the guilty,&#8217; Ram Niwas said.<\/p>\n<p>In his report, Parashuram recommended that criminal proceedings should be initiated against the three accused and they should be punished under various legal provisions.<\/p>\n<p>Suman, a resident of a slum rehabilitation colony here, was nine months pregnant when admitted to the government hospital in Sector 16 Dec 17, 2010.<\/p>\n<p>She was transfused blood of some other group and her situation started deteriorating.
