Chidambaram Tuesday said if rights activist Binayak Sen had been convicted wrongly for his Maoists links then it would be corrected through legal ways.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;If he is wrongly convicted, it will be corrected in lawful ways,&#8217; Chidambaram said, adding that the doctor-activist has been convicted by a court of law and &#8216;those who respect democracy must also respect the processes of democracy&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The home minister was speaking to reporters while presenting the monthly report card of his ministry.<\/p>\n<p>Sen, 59, was Dec 24 sentenced to life imprisonment by a Chhattisgarh court for sedition and his links with Maoists.
