Shah rejected Pandian&#8217;s plea. The policeman wanted bail on the grounds that co-accused and former state minister Amit Shah was given bail earlier.<\/p>\n<p>The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) opposed Pandian&#8217;s bail plea.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>CBI counsel K.T.S. Tulsi said that Pandian was threatening witnesses even from the prison.<\/p>\n<p>The CBI also contended that he was one of the prime accused and was involved in conspiracy behind the killing of Sohrabuddin and his wife Kausarbi.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Pandian&#8217;s counsel S.B. Vakil contended that the circumstances had changed since the court first rejected his bail application and the bail should be granted on grounds of parity with Shah.<\/p>\n<p>Sheikh was gunned down Nov 26, 2005, and his wife, missing without a trace since then, is believed to have died under mysterious circumstances a few days later.Justice M.R.
