Sudershan Reddy and Justice S.S. Nijjar came on petition by eminent jurist Ram Jethmalani seeking direction to the government to take steps for bringing back the money stashed away in foreign banks.<\/p>\n<p>The court earlier asked the central government to inform the whereabouts of the country&#8217;s top tax evader Hasan Ali, who has stashed away a huge amount of money in foreign banks.<\/p>\n<p>The court asked Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium to tell it about Ali&#8217;s status.<\/p>\n<p>The matter was adjourned after the solicitor general told the court that Ali was very much in India and the government had taken steps to ensure that he did not leave the country.<\/p>\n<p>The matter will come up for hearing March 3.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Supreme Court Thursday was told that the government will reveal the names of all the people who have stashed away their black money in foreign banks abroad after it registers cases against them.
