Waghela and K.A. Puj while dismissing the state government&#8217;s appeal against a single judge&#8217;s order.<\/p>\n<p>Mahendrakumar Bhagwandas and others had entered government service as daily wage employees and were regularised in their service under a 1988 government resolution.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the benefits which were available to the regular government servants were extended to them. However, some benefits such as encashment of leave, leave travel allowance, travelling allowance, uniform allowance and others were denied to them by the government.<\/p>\n<p>These employees went to court and secured a ruling for parity in treatment but the government appealed.<\/p>\n<p>The division bench, however, considering all aspects dismissed the appeal and upheld the treating of the employees concerned as permanent employees.
