According to the retired CBI official, ” Krishna, the compounder of dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, had confessed to the double murder of Aarushi-Hemraj but later changed his statement.”
After deposing before a special CBI court as a prosecution witness, retired SSP of CBI Vijay Kumar said Krishna had changed his statements several times.
Kumar, who was also CBI’s first investigating officer of the case, told the court that Krishna’s tests including lie detector, polygraph, narco and brain mapping had indicated his involvement in the murders. The retired officer said 14 things had been seized from the crime scene on June 1, 2008 which included the portion of the terrace’s wall that had blood-stained hand prints on it. “The case in connection with Aarushi-Hemraj’s murder was registered with CBI on May 31, 2008 and we seized 14 things during our visit to Talwars’ residence on June 1,” according to Kumar.
The portion of the wall with blood stained hand-prints was also produced in court. The next hearing in the case is tomorrow. Both Rajesh and Nupur were present in the court today. 14-year-old Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj were found murdered in their Noida residence in 2008. Aarushi’s parents – dentists Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, are the two main suspects whose names have been mentioned in CBI’s closure reports.
Changing statements by witnesses is a very rampant disesae both in civil as well as criminal cases. Besides the Estoppel of IEA 1872( Sec 115) what else the remedy to discipline the witness. The parties know that a witness is lying but the Court doesn’t know. AAre tere any tested procedures in the CPC , IEA 1872 to nail the lies of a witness. I shall be grateful if someone could throw some light on this

Since case open to media in 2008, I was very much clear through media reporting that Hemraj, Krishna & mondal are the conspirator lettar on krishna & mondal may also merder Hemraj.Nupur should get bail I thing Narco, Brain mapping also indicating Krishna & Mondal.
