The Delhi High Court has refused to stay the union Home ministry’s recent May 21 notification holding that Delhi Lt Governor (LG) Najeeb Jung has the discretionary powers for appointments and transfers of key bureaucratic posts in the capital.
After an hearing for an hour, Justice Rajiv Shakdher yesterday refused to change the primacy of the LG in the administrative mechanism of the capital.
