The Supreme Court on Monday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of former Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti in domestic violence case and asked him to surrender by evening.
Bharti’s wife Lipika has filed the domestic violence and attempt to murder case against the AAP MLA. “First surrender, then we will see whether matter should be referred to mediation centre,” said the SC and posted the matter for hearing on Thursday.
Bharti had approached the SC after failing to get relief from the trial court and the Delhi High Court.
