The college is affiliated to B.N Mandal University, Madhepura. Braja Mohan Thakur Law College (Autonomous) is recognized by Ministry of Human Resources, Government of Bihar and also by University Grants Commission (UGC), Government of India. The college imparts law programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate level – Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master of Laws (LLM).
