Shree Nootan Kelavani Mandal is a role model in the field of education. The great son of Valsad, a man of principles and the former Prime Minister Late Shri Morarji Desai was the founder President of the mandal and Late Dr. Monghabhai Desai was the founder Secreatary of the mandal. Both of them served the mandal till death & there is an everlasting impact of their personality on the educational scenario.

S.K.M. Law College is situated in Valsad district of Gujarat. The college was established in 1968. Affiliated to South Gujarat University (Surat), the educational institution is renowned as one of the prominent law colleges in India. Bar Council of India, a statutory body of Government of India, has approved academic program of S.K.M. Law College. The law college admits students to its undergraduate program in the field of law, namely, Bachelor of Laws (LLB). The academic program, which is a three-year course, is taught strictly as per the norms of BCI. For the all round development of its students, S.K.M. Law College provides all the latest facilities to its students.
