JUDGMENT
The petitioner was a student of Sree Narayana College,
Nattika, Thrissur for B.A. Economics. He appeared for the
second year examination English in the year 2006. After
publication of results the petitioner applied for revaluation of
English paper. The petitioner is aggrieved by Ext.P3 stating
that the answer script of his English paper I is not traceable
and hence a direction is issued to write re-examination of that
subject. Aggrieved by the same, this writ petition has been
filed.
2. The learned Standing Counsel for the University
submitted that the subject English consists of 3 papers and
two papers were revalued and there is no change in the result.
With regard to the paper English I answer paper was not
traceable and therefore a memo was issued to him as per
Ext.P3. He was directed to forward a declaration, but that
also was not given.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted
that he was staying abroad in connection with the job and

therefore he could not respond in time. In the light of the
situation arising as above, presently the petitioner can only
appear for the examination, if permitted by the University. If
the petitioner submits appropriate representation requesting
for a chance to appear in the re-examination the same will be
considered and appropriate action will be taken by the
University. The petitioner will file a representation along with
a copy of the judgment for consideration by the University
immediately.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
