Facts

:

1. Both the parties were heard to day, i.e. on 01.09.2008.

2. The appellant has grievances relating to service matters, mainly promotion
under A.C.P. scheme, grant of increment during probation period and entitlement for
free education of teachers’ children, etc. The PIO has duly replied and furnished the
information on the basis of available records.

3. During the hearing, it emerged that the un-aided school where the appellant is
working, has not been granting increment during the probationary period. In this
context, she has submitted complaints to the Management, which has not
responded. The PIO however agreed to ask the Management of the school to do the
needful in accordance with the existing rules.

4. The PIO also clarified that there are clear rules for grant of ACP for the
employees of the government schools but the implementation of this scheme
relevant to un-aided schools are yet to be notified.

Decision:

5. As agreed between the parties, the PIO would provide the following:

i) A copy of the order of the Hon’ble Court in which the entitlement of free
education for the children of the teachers has been decided.

ii) The details of action taken in respect of the grant of increment for teachers
during the probation period.

6. The information, as above, should be furnished within 15 working days from
the date of issue of this decision. The appeal is thus disposed of.
