Title: Motion for election of members to the Committee on Official Language. (Motion adopted).
गृह मंत्रालय में राज्य मंत्री (श्री माणिकराव होडल्या गावित) : महोदय, श्री शिवराज वि. पाटील की ओर से, मैं प्रस्ताव करता हूं :
“कि राजभाषा अधनियम, १९६३ की धारा ४(२) के अनुसरण में, लोक सभा के सदस्य, एकल संक्रमणीय मत द्वारा आनुपातिक प्रतनधित्व प्रणाली के अनुसार, संघ के सरकारी प्रयोजनों के लिए हिंदी के प्रयोग में की गयी प्रगति की समीक्षा करने हेतु इस समति के सदस्य बनने के लिए अपने में से बीस सदस्य निर्वाचित करें तथा उक्त अधनियम की धारा ४ (३) के अनुसरण में, इसके बारे में सिफारिश करते हुए राष्ट्रपति को एक प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत करें। “MR. SPEAKER: The question is:
“That in pursuance of section 4(2) of the Official Languages Act, 1963, the Members of Lok Sabha do proceed to elect, in accordance with the system of proportional representation by means of the single transferable vote, twenty members from among themselves to be members of the Committee to review the progress made in the use of Hindi for the official purposes of the Union and submit a report to the President making recommendations thereon in accordance with section 4(3) of the said Act.”The motion was adopted.
