Heard learned counsel for the parties.
It is stated on behalf of the petitioner that application made by the
petitioner for grant of firearm license is pending since long.
Petitioner seeks early disposal of the same.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, without entering into
the merits of the application, this writ petition is disposed of by
requiring the District Magistrate to take final decision on the
application made by the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law,
by means of a reasoned speaking order, preferably within a
period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order
is filed before him.
