Title: Need to introduce adequate Air India flights from Hyderabad to USA and Europe – Laid.
(HANAMKONDA) : It is learnt that Air India is planning to undertake a major fleet expansion by acquiring eight aircrafts on lease. It is further learnt that with the augmented fleet direct flights to USA and Europe would be introduced from various destinations in our country. A large number of professionals from our State of Andhra Pradesh are working in the United States of America and many parts of Europe. Connectivity to these destinations from Hyderabad is, therefore, essential and would be profitable.
I would, therefore, request through you sir, to the Civil Aviation Minister to ensure that adequate number of flights by Air India from Hyderbad are planned to both United States of America and Europe while finalizing the bilaterals with the countries concerned.
