2. 16.8.2011 Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the

State.

The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in a case

instituted for the offence u/ss.376, 511 and 379 of the Indian

Penal Code.

Considering that the petitioner not only attempted to

outrage the modesty of the informant but also subsequently

attempted to tamper with the prosecution evidence, I am not

inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.
