JUDGMENT
The petitioner was a student of Jyothi
Engineering College, Cheruthuruthy for B.Tech Degree.
The college is affiliated to the University of Calicut. The
petitioner had appeared for the 8th Semester B.Tech in
June, 2009. But, when the result was published, he
failed in one paper. Apparently, dissatisfied with the
marks obtained by him, he had applied for revaluation.
He is aggrieved that the results of the revaluation has
not been published so far.
2. I heard learned standing counsel for the
University also.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of
directing the respondent to publish the result of the
revaluation sought for by the petitioner in relation to
8th Semester B.Tech degree held in June, 2009, as
early as possible, at any rate, within a period of eight

weeks from the last date of receipt of application for
revaluation, provided the application for revaluation is
in order and otherwise correct.
