ORAL
ORDER

1. Heard
the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties.

2. The
grievance of the present petitioners is that application is made by
the petitioners for inter district transfer to the respondent
authorities. Initially, according to old policy dated 4.6.2004, the
respondent authorities shall have to consider the case of the
petitioners but, that policy has been amended by another GR dated
8.8.2006. Therefore, according to petitioners, it having adverse
effect to the right of inter district transfer of the petitioners.

3. Therefore,
it is open for the petitioners to make detailed representation to the
respondent authorities about application made by petitioners for
Inter District Transfer within a period of 15 days from the date of
receiving the copy of this order.

4. As
and when respondent authorities receive representation from the
petitioners for Inter District Transfer, it is directed to the
respondent authorities to consider the seniority of the petitioners
as well as consider the length of service and genuine circumstances
for inter district transfer on the basis of the policy dated 4.6.2004
and 8.6.2006 and then, pass appropriate reasoned order in accordance
with both the policies within a period of one month from the date of
receiving the copy of this order and communicate to the petitioners
immediately.

5. In
light of the above observations and directions, present petitions are
disposed of without expressing any opinion on merits. However, in
case if ultimate decision is adverse to the petitioners, it is open
for the petitioners to challenge the same before appropriate forum in
accordance with law. Direct service is permitted.
