Rule.
Mr. Mengde, learned APP waives service of notice of Rule for the
respondent State.
The
applicant seeks temporary bail on ground of demise of his father, who
expired on 7.5.2010.
The
applicant submits that after conviction, he has not enjoyed any
leave. The jail report of the applicant is reported to be
satisfactory.
In
this set of circumstances, we are inclined to entertain this
application in part.
The
application is partly allowed. The applicant shall be released on
temporary bail for a period of two weeks forthwith, on his executing
a personal bond of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two thousand only) before the
jail authorities and on condition that he shall confine himself to
the State. Rule is made absolute accordingly.
Direct
Service is permitted today.
