Title: Election of four members to the Joint Committee on Offices of Profit.

SHRI CHANDRA BHUSHAN SINGH (FARRUKHABAD): I beg to move:-

“That this House do recommend to Rajya Sabha that Rajya Sabha do elect four Members of Rajya Sabha, in accordance with the system of proportional representation by mans of single transferable vote, to the Joint Committee on Offices of Profit in the vacancies caused by the retirement of Sarvashri Ram Nath Kovind, Manoj Bhattacharya, K. Rama Mohana Rao from Rajya Sabha and resignation of Prof. Saif-ud-Din Soz, from the membership of the Committee on his appointment as a Minister and do communicate to this House the names of the Members so elected by Rajya Sabha to the Joint Committee. ”

 

MR. SPEAKER: The question is:
