Against the assessment of electricity consumption, the petitioner has filed an
objection dated 18.1.2010.

The case of the petitioner is that he has already paid a sum of Rs.40,000/- as
electricity charges.

The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Managing Director,
Kanpur Electricity Supply Company to consider and decide the said objection
of the petitioner preferably within a period of one month from the date of
production of certified copy of this order. For a period of one month, the
recovery shall not be pressed against the petitioner.
