Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ,
order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the
respondents to make necessary inquiry into the revenue papers
regarding the holdings situated in village Danaur and Belpar
Pandit, District Deoria on the allegation that by manipulation and
forgery, his name has been deleted from the revenue record and his
property has been recorded in the name of some other person.
That being so, the petitioner has adequate alternative remedy under
the provisions of the U. P. Land Revenue Act as such the relief
prayed for in this petition is not liable to be allowed.
The writ petition accordingly fails and stands dismissed.
