ORDER
The Commission has received a complaint/Appeal petition, dated 21.10.2010 through SIC,
Lucknow (Diary No.:70141) from Shri Pradeep Kumar Gupta, Hathras(UP) in respect of
his/her RTI-application dated 27.08.2010 filed with the CPIO, State Bank of India, Agra.
2. On Perusal of the papers submitted by the appellant, it is observed that appellant’s RTI-
request was replied to by the concerned CPIO vide letter dated 25.09.2010. The Appellant has
not approached the First Appellate Authority against the reply of CPIO but instead has
approached the Commission directly.
3. In view of above, the complainant / appellant is advised to file his first-appeal before the
First Appellate Authority, under section 19(1) of the RTI Act within four weeks of the receipt
of this order. The First Appellate Authority to take action as mandated under the RTI-Act,
2005 with a speaking order in the matter.
4. In case the complainant / appellant still feels dissatisfied with the decision of FAA, then
he/she can approach the Commission in second-appeal in prescribed format, along with
complaint, if any.
