                           JUDGMENT

The petitioner has approached this Court

complaining that though the STAT had directed that a

permit for conducting Fast Passenger service be granted

to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date

of the said order, the same has not been granted.

2. The Government Pleader, on instructions, submits

that the permit has been granted on 19.2.2010 by

circulation, subject to settlement of timings. It is also

submitted that the timings would be settled and the permit

would be issued within a period of two weeks.

3. The counsel for the petitioner submits that the

proceedings of the respondent granting the permit has not

been communicated to the petitioner.

4. The respondent is therefore directed to

communicate the proceedings granting the permit to the

petitioner, immediately. There shall be a further direction

to the respondent to settle the timings of the petitioner and

to issue the permit so granted, as expeditiously as possible

and at any rate within a period of two weeks from today.

This Writ Petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
