Heard
learned counsel for the appellant. Admittedly, father of the
appellant was discharged from the services and such discharge does
not fit in the scheme of compassionate appointment, because
compassionate employment is granted only when the father of the
applicant dies in harness. Since that contingency was not present,
it cannot be said that the reasons given by the learned Single Judge
are immediately erroneous and in that view of the matter, the appeal
has no merits. Hence, the same is dismissed.
In
view of the dismissal of the main appeal, no order is required to be
passed on the civil application for stay and the same is disposed of
accordingly.
