Facts

:

1. The appellants were heard on 18/7/2008.

2. The appellants stated that they have supplied certain materials to the
respondent as per agreements. They have, however, not received full payments,
a total of about 26 lakhs, which is due since 1996-97. They alleged that the
respondent has not honoured the mutually agreed terms and conditions for
settlement of disputes relating to the payment of bills. They alleged that in spite
of oft repeated requests, the respondent has not indicated the reasons why their
payments are withheld or when it would be released to them. They have,
therefore, pleaded that the payments due to them should be released at the
earliest as per the agreements.

Decision:

3. The CPIO is directed to indicate the reasons for non-payment of dues to
the appellants. The details in respect of all the supplies made by the appellants
and the reasons for deduction or withholding payments should be clearly
indicated. The information should thus be provided within 15 working days from
the date of issue of this decision under intimation to the Commission.

4. Both the appeals are thus disposed of.
