Background
1. The Applicant filed his RTI application dt.18.7.08 with the CPIO, BSNL,
Koraput. He requested for information against 34 points relating to BSNL,
Koraput Telecom District such as outstanding dues, rates paid to the
contractor for unskilled, semi-skilled, skilled & highly skilled labourers. The
CPIO replied on 20.8.08 denying the disclosure u/s 2(f). The Applicant filed
an appeal dt.29.8.08 with the Appellate Authority. The Appellate Authority
replied on 29.9.08 upholding the decision of the CPIO. Not satisfied with the
reply the Appellant filed an appeal with the CIC on 5.12.08
2. The Bench of Mrs. Annapurna Dixit, Information Commissioner, scheduled the
hearing on February 16, 2009.
3. Both the Appellant and the Respondent were absent at the hearing.
Decision
4. The Commission directs the CPIIO to provide all the information within 20
days of receipt of this Order.
5. The appeal is disposed off.
