This petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is

for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of

the petitioners and further to ensure that they may not harassed by respondent

Nos. 4 to 9.

This petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to

approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala for protection, as per the

instructions dated 10.8.2010 issued by the Home Department, Punjab.

Petitioners may not be arrested and adequate security be provided to them, if

required.
