Heard Mr.B.S.Jhothiraman, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Manoharan, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.
2. It is submitted that the main grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent is demanding the payment of Rs.7,65,709/- as the amount of arrears outstanding and payable by the petitioner to the respondent as water charges.
3. At the stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents, had submitted that the petitioner Association had paid the entire amount due and therefore, nothing survives in the writ petition.
4. Based on the above submissions, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, if there is any further grievance to be redressed, it is left open to the petitioner to agitate the same in a manner known to law. No costs.
